Coolwaters' own president, Derek Maki, is happy to be sharing the spotlight with not only his co-host Sheila BUT ALSO his numerous clients! He's been acting since the age of 7. He is from Massachusetts, where he graduated high school then college earning his associate's degree in broadcasting and telecommunications. Derek has studied Improv acting for 8 years. He has also appeared as a stand-up comic at the Ha Ha CafŽ and The Comedy Store. He had the crowds laughing when he took center stage during a sketch comedy show performing many characters. He STOLE the show during another sketch show called "The Customer is always right... Bullshit!" Derek landed a role in Leprechaun 6: Back to tha Hood, and he can currently be seen at film festivals in his own award-winning independent film INSTANT DADS as well as in other festivals starring in three films CREATURE STORY, The Miraculous Tale of the Children Dubois, and MY COUSIN'S KEEPER. Derek has several new projects in development, but is thrilled to be working on COOLWATERS LIVE! He also serves as co-writer and editor of the comic I, OF THE WOLF, which is currently available on the convention circuit!

For the better part of a decade, Sheila Myjo has been a frequent collaborator on Coolwaters Productions' projects, and she is thrilled to be embarking on this new endeavor with her dear friend, Derek Maki. Originally from the Seattle area, Sheila has been acting since age nine when she danced onto the stage as Bielke, Tevye's youngest daughter, in "Fiddler on the Roof". Since then, she has been seen up and down the west coast (and occasionally on film) in everything from Shakespeare to sketch comedy. Some of her roles include Annelle in "Steele Magnolias", Gabrielle Rejane in "The Ladies of the Camellias", Hermia in "A Midsummer Night's Dream", and Babe in "Crimes of the Heart". In addition to acting, she also writes, paints, sings, and plays guitar. For the past four years, Sheila has been focused on exploring the exhilarating world of improvised theater. As a result of this, she has had the opportunity to participate not only in numerous live shows, but also in several improvised web series, including Hothouse Films' The Weekly Geekly and The Chaperone, as well as a mockumentary entitled United Skates. Sheila is currently playing with the Improv Dance Company, and can often be seen on stage at The Hothouse, an improv studio in the Los Angeles area.
