Juju (Journey) Brener, is an award-winning actress, voice- over artist, singer and dancer.

From sharing the screen with Morgan Freeman in the Lionsgate action thriller Vanquish, to her voiceover work alongside Chloe Grace Moretz in the animated feature Red Shoes & The Seven Dwarfs, Brener is quickly establishing herself as a rising star in Hollywood.

In the fall of 2022 eager audiences worldwide finally got to see Juju as Young Sarah Sanderson in Disney’s Hocus Pocus 2. Directed by Anne Fletcher, the highly-anticipated sequel to the 1993 Disney cult classic reunites its beloved original stars: Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker & Kathy Najimy. Since its premiere on Disney+ on Sept 30th, audiences and critics alike have been raving about it. Many have been singling out the storyline and performances of the young Sanderson sisters. The film made its mark by generating viewership. Hocus Pocus 2 is now the #1 most watched Disney+ premiere since the streamer’s launch In 2019.Additionally, Hocus Pocus 2 set a record for streaming by a movie on Nelsen’s weekly chart, drawing more than 2.7 billion minutes on its opening weekend.

Brener is currently filming the drama Man in the Long Black Coat, starring Christopher Lloyd and Dermot Mulroney. Directed by Salvador Litvak. She just wrapped filming the comedy Born Again; sequel to Born in East LA, starring Paul Rodriguez, Jay Mohr and Louis Guzman. Directed by Rene Bueno. Both slated to release in 2023 -2024.

Also set for a 2023 release is the book to movie adaption The Furry Fortune. Brener stars in the film, based on a best selling children’s book. The family comedy also stars Mason Blomberg & Henry the dog.. Directed by Justin Ward.

Her other recent theatrical release is Lionsgate’s action thriller Vanquish. Directed by George Gallo, opposite Morgan Freeman and Ruby Rose, playing Lily (Rose’s daughter). She can also be seen on Hulu in the retro comedy VHYes, starring Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon, directed by Jack Henry Robbins. Brener recently re-teamed with dir Robbins, for a Jimmy Kimmel Live sketch on ABC.

Juju won Best Actress awards at the Young Artists Awards and the Young Entertainer Awards 2021. Both for her voiceover work in the animated Lionsgate movie Red Shoes & The Seven Dwarfs, alongside Chloe Grace Moretz. First released in theaters worldwide, now streaming on Apple TV.

Brener made her foray into the music scene when she was handpicked by famed music video director, Diane Martel and Miley Cyrus, for Cyrus’ Younger Now iconic music video, which has amassed over over 70 million views. She was then chosen by them to perform live with Cyrus at the VMAs.

This experience combined with her innate musical abilities and passion for dance, inspired her to pursue her own path in this arena. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for some exciting new things coming later this year.

Aside from her acting work, Brener was recently named Brand Ambassador for YMI Jeans with a capsule collection JUJU X YMI that launched fall 2022. Brener designed the line, currently in stores, alongside the company’s creative team. The collection includes jeans, pants and jackets. For over two decades YMI has established itself as a leading junior/young contemporary denim house. This is the company’s first collaboration with a child actress, and foray into putting the spotlight on their kids line, with a young fashionista giving her design ideas.

In addition to YMI Brener has worked with brands such as TY Inc, BCBG Girls and DITA Eyewear. Others include Joy & Mario shoes, Grace Girls Denim, Little Tykes, Night 1 Dress, Ubooly Toys, Cosco Car Seats, Numero Magazine and more.

In the past few years she has shot over 20 commercials & industrials for companies such as Geico, Google, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kroger, DITA eyewear, Rodeo Realty, Unity Point Health, Intex and others

By age 5, Juju was acting in award winning short films like Pearl and Manolita which made their debuts at the Cannes film festival. Her other notable ones; Caroline, Point & Dream and A Beautiful Day starring James Brolin and Frances Fisher have also won awards and had showings at lRIIFF, Oldenburg, and others. During those years She was a recurring Guest Star on Funny or Die in episodes such as Common Core opposite Brian Husky and Kate Flannery and Cannibal Child.

She has also voiced several characters on the Cartoon Network Show Summer Camp Island & the video game Wattam.
