Sara Mitich is defined by her passion, discipline, and remarkably wide range as an actor. Many refer to her as a chameleon, as she effortlessly slips into any role. Sara is best known for her roles as Airiam and Nilsson in STAR TREK: DISCOVERY, Gia in THE EXPANSE, Eileen in the psychological thriller CONTROL and Lillian Moss in MURDOCH MYSTERIES. Over the past few years, Sara has been called a ‘Sci-Fi Darling,’ a title she is more than happy to wear. Exploring the Sci-Fi genre and the fans that accompany it has become a great joy. Prior to acting, Sara's first love was Ballet. At the young age of 9, Sara began at the National Ballet School of Canada where she flourished for several years. Originally from Hamilton, Ontario, she now calls both Toronto and Los Angeles home. Though she is first generation Canadian, her family hails from Serbia and she remains fluent in both English and Serbian. When she is not acting, Sara is an avid hiker, horseback rider, and book lover of all genres.
